Senior Rank and GPA Rank is calculated after the first 20 days of school. The updated senior rank and GPA information will be available after September 24th. If you need to know your class rank and GPA please complete the Class Rank/GPA Request Form and your counselor will email you the updated GPA and Class Rank. Requested information will only be sent to the Student's WCPSS email address. Request from non-WCPSS emails will not be processed.
Senior Conferences
Attention Seniors: Virtual senior conferences with your counselors are starting Wednesday, September 16th. We will discuss college applications, sending transcripts, financial Aid, and more. Please go to the Senior Conference Session registration link to register to attend a session. If you are a Mid-year graduate, make sure you sign up for one of the "midyear graduate only" sessions offered.

FINANCIAL AID 101 Even without a scholarship, there are plenty of other forms of aid that can help you tackle the cost. The financial aid system can be confusing, so don't feel bad if you're a little unclear about how it all works. There are scholarships and grants (which you don't have to pay back), and loans (which you do). Some of what you receive is based on income and some can be based on academic merit. Infinite Scholars Program Since 2003, the Infinite Scholars Program (a nonprofit organization) has helped more than 200,000 students connect with colleges and secure more than $1.5 Billion in scholarships.
Due to COVID-19, our September and October 2020 events will be virtual. At these events, students will • Learn how to finance a college education with scholarships.
• Connect with our network of 400+ colleges WAIVING APPLICATION FEES for our students.
• Schedule one-on-one sessions with college reps to talk about admission & scholarship opportunities at their schools. Students may receive admission and scholarships on the spot!
• There is no cost for students to participate. Topics covered during the event include types of federal student aid, paying for college through service, websites to search for private scholarships, benefits of community college, responsible borrowing, and scholarship displacement.
We are having an event for your city. Please check our website for specific dates and times where you can also download a flyer for distribution. Students must pre-register on our website in order to receive the login link for the virtualcollege-scholarship event in your area. Teachers, counselors, and parents can also participate by going to the Register Here tab and clicking on non-student.

HBCU Summit is excited to announce that they will be offering a Virtual HBCU Tour & Summit Series this Fall.
Students and parents will have an opportunity to hear and engage with HBCUs and ask questions "LIVE" as well as attend workshops that both the students and the parent will enjoy!!
There will also be workshops specifically for seniors and HBCUs accepting on the spot!
